Breyden manufactures conventional brake discs from gray cast iron EN-GJL-150 to EN-GJL-250. These are processed as alloyed, non-alloyed, or according to customer specifications, tailored to meet the specific requirements of modern vehicles.

Our brake discs are characterized by excellent heat retention capacity, strength, and minimal distortion even at high temperatures, as well as positive damping properties. This ensures reliable braking performance and high driving comfort.

Solid brake discs are typically used for small and light vehicles with low loads on the rear axle. Ventilated brake discs are ideal for mid-range and high-end vehicles with moderate to high loads on both the front and rear axles. Their ventilation channels allow an improved heat dissipation, which is particularly important for the heavily stressed front axle.
