4 MAT sites become part of Breyden

On December 1, 2025, a new era begins for the former MAT sites in Neunkirchen, Immenhausen, Altenburg, and Ueckermünde. Following their acquisition by the Munich-based investor group AEQUITA in the middle of the year, they will now become part of the Breyden brand. With this, the company grows to a total of five sites in Germany and gains significant expertise in the development and production of drivetrain components.

Successful completion of the acquisition by AEQUITA

Buderus Guss, a partner of the international automotive industry for the development and production of passenger car brake discs, is pleased to confirm the successful completion of its acquisition by AEQUITA. AEQUITA is an owner-managed industrial group based in Munich, focused on acquiring and long-term value enhancement of companies. "It is of great importance to us that AEQUITA has agreed to the acquisition of Buderus Guss, and with this, we have a strategic partner with whom we can accelerate our ongoing transformation.
